The board of Spokane Public Schools gave tentative approval last night to a concert being planned for this summer at Joe Albi Stadium.
Since Albi is owned by the district, promoters need approval to rent the stadium and sell alcohol.
The "Monsters Of Rock" Tour would reprise a 1988 concert also held at Albi.
The school board will decide soon on final approval.
Possible concert dates include Saturday August 15th or 22nd.
