MOSES LAKE, Wash. -Here's a tip: If you're on the run from police, don't brag about getting away on their Facebook page.

That's what 19-year-old Kayla Irizzary did before she was taken into custody early Saturday morning by Moses Lake Police.

Officers say they first contacted the woman during a traffic stop last week. She was a passenger in the stopped car. Officers released her at the scene, but during a search of the car found a purse with her identification in it, along with a pistol. Irizzary isn't allowed to carry a gun because she is a "prolific felon," according to police. By the time officers conducted the search, they weren't able to find and arrest Irizzary.

Police say Irizzary bragged about getting away on their agency's Facebook page.

Using social media, Moses Lake Police set up a meeting with Irizzary. When she showed up for the meeting and realized it was a set-up she tried to take off on foot but didn't get far. Police say she was caught "in about 4 steps" around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

She was booked into the Grant County Jail on charges of unlawful possession of a fire arm and possession of heroin, both stemming from the original incident.
